2012 by the numbers

Posted Dec 29 2012 9:49am
(I've ditched Google Reader... more on why later, for now -  Follow my blog with Bloglovin !)

Yesterday I went through my 2012 goals to see what I've accomplished. I thought it would be nice to take a look at 2012 by the numbers... and through photos where appropriate :)

Races run: 4
Favorite race ever: MCM10K!
The Color Run with Emma and Jill
My first "big" race: St. Patty's Day 8K!
Team Jimmy J at the MMRF DC 5K!
Dollars raised for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation: 5794 and counting! You can still donate at Team Jimmy J's team page  -- the MMRF will match your contribution until the end of the year!

Miles logged with Nike+: 140 (though I didn't always track...)
My first 5 mile run!
First 5K training run after a run-less
summer in Russia!

Yoga classes attended: 40Bakasana success!

Books read (for pleasure, not school): 12(I realize for many people this is not much, but hey, I read 500 pages a week for grad school...)Some highlights:  Countries visited: 2St. Issac's Cathedral,
Saint Petersburg, Russia
A random hill near Sztum, Poland

Marriage proposals accepted: 1The big moment!
2012 was a fun year with a lot of challenges not really represented in either of my summary posts. I feel like a stronger, more well-rounded, more confident person after the year, and I know this means great things for 2013!
