I had a great lunch with our family friend!!!! She’s been my mom’s friend since I was in primary school and her daughter grew up with me and was always one of my closest friends. We had a wonderful time catching up over lunch and made plans to see each other more now that I’m back in the area. Her daughter, my friend, goes to school closer to my mom’s house, so we’re going to find a weekend to coordinate and all meet up at my mom’s house for a reunion! Fun!
We went to a great new Mexican restaurant and I was happy to see a more authentic menu. Since I lived in Mexico for 9 weeks, I’m a food snob! I ordered the lunch portion of chicken fajitas and ate about half of the fajitas with 3 flour tortillas and a little of the lettuce, tomatoes, and beans. I’m hanging out a little longer with the family I stayed with last night then heading back to the beach and hitting up the gym on my way home. I brought my swimming stuff but forgot my pull buoy so I hope they have some supplies or I might be cutting it a bit shorter than I usually swim. I’ll probably do about 30 minutes instead of my normal 45-an hour.
Lunch:
1/2 lunch portion of chicken fajitas
3 flour tortillas
1/4 cup refried beans
lettuce, tomato
1 tbsp sour cream (I had to have a taste!!)
