Good morning (almost afternoon here in California) but this is my breakfast post so its Morning! The whole family did breakfast this morning at good old Black Bear Diner , which of course made me smile because it is one of my top coffees .

The coffee at Black Bear is one of my tops! I have a serious fetish with coffee and it NOT tasting burnt, and this one never does.

I switched it up this morning. Usually I am a very habitual order-er when it comes to restaurants and I always get the Vegetarian Omelette. I decided to break tradition and get the Shasta Scramble which is eggs, jack cheese, spinach, avocado, and onion. I added some pepper and salsa and it was a serious yum situation.

The potatoes this morning were the BEST, honestly I think next time I’ll order my usual veggie omelette but I always love the potatoes. I add of course some salsa and some tapatilo (true Californian) but these were especially good. My mother thinks the potatoes at the Black Bear aren’t that good but I 100% disagree! Especially today!

I ate so much! I think I’m full ’til snack today. Can I just say that I think potatoes (made any way) make my top 5 favorite foods, definitely in the top 10. Well I have a bunch of things to update here on Simply Maren today.
