Just a little while ago, I got back from a GREAT interval workout using a podcast from MotionTraxx. MotionTraxx has the BEST podcasts for workouts– seriously, I love them! When I was training for a half marathon last spring, I raved about their “ Fitness Magazine Half-Marathon Mix,” and now I am obsessed with their “Drop a Jeans Size ‘09″ series.
This afternoon, I did their “30-Minute Cardio Machine Melter,” which is meant for cardio machine workouts, but I took it outside for a running workout. I covered a little over 3 miles in 30 minutes, and seriously pushed myself during the sprint intervals. I kicked my own butt! My stupid hip is already sore from running, but I’m meeting with an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully, the end of all this hip pain will be soon.
It’s Mal’s turn to cook tonight! His meal sounds like it will be delicious! We just cracked a bottle of wine, so I’m off to enjoy and help my hubby cook.
