Minus this peach, I just want to eat junk food today.

Typically, I crave a mixture of healthy and not-so-healthy foods, which works out nicely since it’s the food philosophy behind Carrots ‘N’ Cake. But, for the past few days, my cravings have been a bit out of whack. I’m craving foods like pizza, donuts , and potato chips, which is totally fine, and I’m allowing myself to enjoy them. But, I feel like I am forcing myself to eat more nutritious foods, like fresh fruit and salads. Usually, I like to eat these types of food.
I guess this happens every now and then, but I hope my cravings work themselves out soon. I just don’t feel 100% when I eat a lot of junk. Plus, if I don’t put nutritious foods into my body, I get cranky and my skin breaks out.
I really wanted to eat leftover Buffalo Chicken Pizza again for dinner, but I made myself a salad instead. I mean, I hadn’t eaten a vegetable all day!

In the mix: romaine, grape tomatoes, cucumber, celery, carrots, lemon garlic & oregano feta, and Goddess dressing drizzled on top.

On the side, I had a bowl of Kettle Backyard Barbeque potato chips. I also snacked on a bunch, straight from the bag, while cutting up the veggies for my salad. My gosh are they addictive!!!


For dessert, my husband suggested a glass of wine. Wine counts as dessert, right?

Up next: watching a movie with M & m and then hitting the hay. I have a busy day tomorrow!
