I LOVE Cream of Wheat, but can't always afford the luxury of calories in the butter and brown sugar I like to slather over the top. My solution is to add Splenda (or some other sugar substitute) and cinnamon in the water while it's cooking. The sweetener gets distributed really well this way. It's not quite as tasty, but it does the trick when I need some comfort. Best of all it's only 2 Weight Watchers points (because of all the fiber!)! Win-win for wheat!
