I've been using the South Beach diet Book. It's kind of like learning a new way of coping with food. I think it will help me. My daughter and her hubby both lost weight on that diet, also.  Good luck, sandy

The key to continued weight loss is to keep going with diet and exercise.  Many of the people who have done GREAT things failed at many things before they figured out the magic answer...

Most people stop right before the goal has begun to be attained.  It's discouraging but this is the time to find your resolve to stick to it.

Making it simple is also a way I have help many people achieve a lifestyle change.  Many diets become way too complicated.... try reading Food Rules.

The basic rules are:

Eat Food.

Mostly Plants.

Not Too Much.

You'll find many motivating factors in this book and its and easy read.

Make sure to get out and exercise every single day.  It really is about accumulation.  If you don't get it done one day... don't let that stop you the next day.

What You Do Every Day Counts not what you do sometimes... :)

Eat Your Colors... and focus on what you want :)

If you have been working out as well as dieting then the plateau in your weight loss may be due to the fact that you have started building muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Don't get discouraged, keep watching what you eat, and continue being active.
