This summer you may be browsing the fruit section and see a sign for pluots. What are they? This fabulous stonefruit is a hybrid cross of an apricot and a plum. Predominately plum parentage gives them a close resemblance, but you can find them in all sorts of beautiful colors. Pluots have a wonderful sweet and intense flavor that is a perfect quick "pick-me-up" summer snack that is full of vitamins and antioxidants.
