What is a good post-workout fruit? I've been eating apples but I just read that they take too long to be absorbed by your body.

Bananas are really the powerhouse pre- or post-workout snack. They have lots of carbs to replenish deleted stores, and they contain cramp-preventing potassium. Throw in some almonds or walnuts, and you’ve got yourself a perfect way to refuel (or pre-fuel!).
