As I’m writing this post I just saw that Jenn is hosting a green month for March, luckily looking back on my meals today I think I did some it some justice!
I started mine with a nonfat yogurt bowl topped with a crumbled protein banana muffin, frozen blueberries and protein “frosting”. And the usual black coffee (in one of my favorite mugs!) I tend to go through these 3 day obsessions with my coffee mugs at a time. It’s a good thing I hoard mugs so I have more options to choose my obsession for the week. ;)
I had the hub stop at the grocery store to pick up a few extra items the other day and he walks through the door proclaiming he brought me a surprise. Luna bars! He sure knows the way to my <3
First time trying the caramel nut brownie flavor, and I really liked it! Really though, I don’t discriminate against any Luna’s. I don’t eat them too often because there is a lot of processed soy in it, so when I do I’m all smiles.
The bar kept me satisfied for 2 hours and then I finally grabbed my lunch-
leftover veggie and goat cheese frittata from last night (mushrooms, onions, broccoli) over a bed of spinach with some chopped walnuts, an orange and of course a cup of tea.
I ate it cold and loooved it.
I snacked on a mini banana chocolate chip protein muffin a few hours later
And winner winner chicken dinner massaged kale salad with chicken and pickled jalapenos. With a side of easy baked potatoes. I feel like I always forget that I can eat kale as a salad for some reason! I usually steam it or saute it with a peanut sauce but I’m pretty sure massaging is my new favorite way to eat it!
