What an amazing WIAW theme for march. Thanks for that Jenn ! I will not make a lot of words today, since somehow over the course of the week I collected a heap of food pictures and did not post a single one of them. So let them talk instead:
Bagel breakfast – Ever tried cottage cheese on bagels? No? You should!
Healthy lunch out: Paste with vegetables, chicken and grated parmesan
Of course there were some eggy oats included. One of my recent breakfast favorites: soft-boiled egg, life-changing bread and camembert.
Quick thrown together dinner: Tandori chicken, sweet potato and broccoli (there you have your greens )
What would a week be without baked pumpkin oats?
This lunch was a good one and I will probably make a recipe post about it: Quinoa-Veggie Casserole topped with mozzarella. You can also add some protein into it using smoked tofu, chicken, minced meat (veggie or not) or some white beans.
Anyone of you tried the Lindt Hello chocolate yet? Strawberry cheesecake was okey, but I definitely recommend you get the caramel brownie one – it is mind blowing delicious!
And a quick microwave version of my pumpkin oat bake, topped of with some greek yogurt almond butter fluff was exactly what I needed after yesterdays first long run outside in weeks.
And something non-food related to close up this post: Check out my best friends amazing new hair color. She made the step from blond to brown yesterday and we spent an amazing day, devouring every single sunbeam – it is getting warm and spring-y here in Germany. Time to enjoy a run in the park, City Saunter, go for ice cream with your friends and simply enjoy life!
