Many foods provide electrolytes. In fact the best way to get it is not sports drinks but foods. Try fresh fruits and greens which are packed with nutrients and electrolytes. Also chia is a great for anyone doing long bouts of exercise or long runs. Mix a tablespoon with water and you're ready to go. In a pinch and needing electrolytes quick try filtered water a pinch of sea salt and a pinch of sugar and you're good to go.

  

Agree with Amanda - skip the sports drinks! Coconut water, if you can find it, is also a great source.
