We Sold A TON of Brussel Sprouts (Literally). That’s A Lot Of Love For Mini Cabbage.

So the verdict’s in – you guys LOVE our new Oven-Roasted Brussel Sprouts . Over the course of the last 2 weeks, we’ve literally sold a ton (2,000 pounds) of the tasty little things. Unreal.
How many brussel sprouts is that? We did the math, and it turns out that 2,000 pounds is approximately 45,000 brussel sprouts, which is a lot, considering that customers typically get 8-10 in a side serving here at The Pump.
But we were having a hard time visualizing what 45,000 brussel sprouts would look like if you had them all in one place. So to make it a little more tangible, we created the picture above, which is more or less what a ton of brussel sprouts would look like if you decided to smash them all together and mold them into a gigantic letter “O” (and why wouldn’t you do that, if you had 45,000 brussel sprouts just laying around).
Pretty cool, right? We thought so. Thanks for making our sprouts such a fantastic success this fall season.
And if you haven’t tried them yet, come on down to The Pump and give them a shot. With your help, we should be able to fill out the entire LOVE statue before the season’s out. Now that would be an ironic accomplishment, given that the concepts of love and brussel sprouts were kind of like oil and water back when we were kids…
