Watch Me On the TV Program, Daily Cafe, Which Airs On DirecTV and CN8

Posted Dec 18 2008 7:35pm

Bet you can! Can what, I presume you'll ask.

You CAN quit those culprit carbs for a day. Actually, I have confidence that you can do it for a full week or even three weeks.

That's right: I'm issuing the Stop SUGAR SHOCK! Challenge -- right here, right now!. Mary_alice_williams_williams_med_3

And I'll be inviting viewers of Retirement Living TV'sDaily Cafe sometime after 3 p.m. EST today to do just that, too.

You can catch me challenging viewers of Daily Cafe on DirectTV 364 and Comcast CN8

By the way, Daily Café -- which just hit the air on June 18 -- offers a lively mix of news, live interviews and a variety of topics, from politics to personal relationships.

Felicia_taylor_magfall05_pic5_4 The show is hosted by two veteran TV journalists -- Mary Alice Williams, former CNN anchor, and Felicia Taylor of New York's WNBC-TV.

It'll be a pleasure to chat with the two TV personalities, whose work I've long admired.

Naturally, on Daily Café tomorrow, I'll rave about the many benefits to squashing your sugar habit -- or at least cutting back on it.

The pluses of cutting back on sweets are simply innumerable, as I've personally experienced and as I discuss in my book SUGAR SHOCK!

For instance, just by cutting out those quickie carbs, you could:

  • Get more energy.
  • Focus better and banish "brain fog."
  • Lift your moods.
  • Banish headaches -- and even
  • Boost your libido.

Again, you can watch Daily Café on DirectTV 364 or Comcast CN8.

Not only can you view the show, but, as its website indicates, "Daily Café provides you with more ways to get involved than any program you've ever seen. It breaks the barrier between the studio and the audience at home, letting you share your thoughts and your voice with us on the air. And between shows, you can give us your views via our online message board."
