During my short but sweet vacation to Florida I ate lunch at a fairly new restaurant called Veg . The menu consists of seafood and vegetarian food only. My mom found it on the internet while she was searching for vegetarian restaurants in the area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer… and the food couldn’t have been better!
I ordered the Avocado Salad with Tempeh: Seasonal lettuce, fresh avocado, goat cheese crumbles, craisins and pumpkin seeds served with Ziporah’s lemon dijon vinaigrette on the side.
I love how the avocados are cut.
My mom got the Nicoise salad: Rare ahi tuna, seasonal lettuce, capers, hard-boiled eggs, green beans, tomatoes, mixed olives & anchovy with Ziporah’s lemon dijonvinaigrette on the side
I had a few bites of the tuna and it was very very good. Melted in your mouth. Also, she gave me half of the anchovy
Next time I am in Florida I will definitely be back at VEG!
