A big part of eating healthy has to do with portion control.For instance, one recent study found that people eating trail mix from the bag ate 134 more calories than people who ate a measured portion from a bow.I’m sure this carries over to potato chips, crackers, and Cheetos.One thing our family does when having a snack is to measure a portion into a bowl and put the rest of the snack food away.The same goes for meals.We fix a plate in the kitchen and carry it to the dining table to eat.I’m into vintage dinner ware and I find this helps us.Dinner ware in the fifties and sixties was sized for more realistic portions.Today it seems that bigger is better unless you’re shopping for new jeans
