Two Sweet Juice Recipes That Make Juicing Easy!

Philip and I have been juice cleansing for the past two weeks and as always when juicing, we feel amazing!

When you are on a juice only cleanse, you can expect to have a few moments of passing hunger or a little fatigue in the first few days, but after that you will be flying high! We always love our fresh made green juices (such as this one ), but with the change of seasons bringing some warmer weather and doing a juice only cleanse, I love me some fresh pressed fruit juice too!

I have two simple recipes we’ve been loving lately to share with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Watermelon Twist

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium watermelon, chopped (with rind if organic)
  • 1 cucumber
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 bunch fresh mint

Directions:

  1. Run each ingredient through a juicer one at a time.
  2. Stir and serve.

Citrus Ginger

orange, carrot and pink grape fruit juice main

Ingredients:

  • 2 grapefruits
  • 5 oranges
  • Small knob of ginger
  • Handful fresh basil (do not juice)

Directions:

  1. Run each ingredient through a juicer one at a time.
  2. Place the basil in a jug and pour the juice over the basil.
  3. Stir and serve.

Enjoy these amazing juices. You’ll be feeling on top of the world and full of energy in no time!
