Turkey is at an all time high price this year so make the most out of every morsel.
Need some ideas on what to do with that mound of leftovers from Thanksgiving? Here are my top tips on how to use that gobbler:
- Freeze it: If you try to eat turkey every day for a week after Thanksgiving you’re going to get bored, give up and toss it in the trash. Instead freeze it in slices for later use. Just wrap in freezer paper and then place in zip lock bag for best taste. Turkey can be frozen for up to 6 months.
- Use as a substitute for any chicken dishes and also some beef recipes.

Apple Walnut Salad – as a topping. Butternut Squash Soup – mix into soup and add sour cream on top for a hearty main dish meal. Zucchini Pasta – delete the beef topping and add turkey with your pasta sauce.
