Good Evening!
I rarely get around to blogging about dinner on a daily basis but it is my evening off and I actually have time before putting the kids to bed. Yah! Plus this is one of my favorite recipes. I love Turkey Feta Hummus Burgers. They are loaded with flavor and super satisfying.
Turkey Feta Hummus Burger 1 package Lean Ground Turkey
1 tablespoon Italian Seasonings
7 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
ground pepper
Combine turkey with above spices and cheese. Grill burgers for 7-8 minutes per side or until appropriate meat thermometer temp. Remove and serve with hummus in pita bread or on a bed of broccoli slaw.
topped with:
1 1/2 tbsp hummus
Broccoli Slaw 1/2 cup of Mann's Sunny Shores Broccoli Slaw
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
I really do love these burgers and the best part is that my family does too! I served them with baked potato fries and watermelon. I did not have pita bread tonight so I served them on Arnold Sandwich Thins for the kids and hubby. I felt like a needed a veggie fix so served mine on Broccoli Slaw. Either way they were great.
My afternoon snack was a wonderful and crunchy Honeycrisp Apple with Cinnamon. Yum!
The kids ended up helping me out (the power of suggestion) so we ended up having to slice another apple and sprinkling it with cinnamon. Apple season is upon us and I can't wait to pick up some different varieties.
So I am contemplating what to have for dessert..... I am debating between Blue Bell Cherry Chewy Granola Frozen Yogurt or Dreyer's Slow Churn Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream. This is tough! Any thoughts?
