Triple Layer Berry Sorbet

Posted Jan 26 2012 1:10pm
Do you know what my 13 year old will tell people his favorite food is? He’ll say dessert!  He loves to see me squirm.  He knows I want him to tell people his favorite food is broccoli, so they can think I must be the best mom on the planet. But he’s only being honest.  Which I can’t fault him for.  But what I can do, is make sure our desserts are as healthy as our snacks!  Which is why this sorbet just hit’s the spot!

We start with frozen berries to make this creamy sorbet, that way we don’t have to wait for the sorbet to freeze, it’s already frozen!

We simply added blackberries, plain yogurt, and a tablespoon of orange juice concentrate to give it a little kick.
