As hard as I have tried to avoid it, counting calories and tracking everything I eat, drink and how hard I move is the only thing that is going to get this weight off.
A few days ago I had received a sample from www.vocalpoint.com and I decided to try it for breakfast.
Kashi Warm Cinnamon Oats.
Look at these cute little heart shapes thrown in
I topped the cereal with a sliced banana and some Almond Milk. Results: YUMM!!! The cinnamon factor was perfect, the crunchiness satisfied, it tasted like a bowl of my favorite childhood cereal: Cinnamon Toast Crunch. They sent me some coupons so when I was at the store, I bought a giant box...be prepared to see lots more on here!!!
Out shopping I needed a snack, and remembered I had thrown a
Chia Razz bar into my purse.
Here are the stats:
I was a little leery of trying these, but they were really good! I'm not a huge fan of raspberry flavoring, but this wasn't overpowering and I liked the nut pieces. I will be getting more of these on my next trip to Whole Foods.
While I was at Whole Foods picking up things for my protein bars, I saw these
Gardenburger Gourmet Steaks, so I picked up the Hula flavor.

Review: Not so good, I had a few bites and the rest went in the garbage. It was dry, sticky and too *gingery* for me. They do have other flavors: the Baja is one I'm really interested in trying next.
I also had a Green Giant vegetables for one; this time I had the peas and corn with a sweet basil sauce. It was a lunch saver!!!
For dinner I had made salsa chicken in the crockpot and then had supplies available for everyone to make burritos. I went with the naked burrito option :)
On my plate: 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup refried black beans with a little cheese on top, 1/2 cup shredded chicken, bell pepper strips, sliced avocado and a drizzle of Cholula. I have never tried Cholula and was frightened, but it was really good!!
