Tourists in Harvard Square

Posted Mar 04 2011 6:39pm

Chandra , Monica , and I spent the afternoon as tourists in Harvard Square. We wandered around, explored points of interest, snapped photos of those points of interest, and spent way too much time window shopping in Anthropologie.

Of course, we had to visit Harvard Yard. I miss !

I said ‘hello’ to . It was bittersweet.

While at University Hall, Monica and Chandra gave John Harvard a little rub (on his foot).

After wandering around Harvard Yard for awhile, we popped into Crema Café for a beverage.

I ordered a very refreshing Moroccan Mint iced tea.

After that, we headed to Tory Row for lunch where we met Jayne , the company’s Events and Communications Manager, who treated us to an informal blogger lunch.

I started with a Shipyard Ale.

As an appetizer, the four of us shared a cheese plate.

For my meal, I ordered the Bacon Flatbread, which I absolutely loved the last night I ate at Tory Row. It has smoked bacon, Vermont white cheddar, baby spinach, and Bermuda onion on it. So yum!

In fact, I raved about this flatbread pizza so much, a quote from my blog ended up next to the menu outside the restaurant!

After lunch, we stolled along the Charles and caught up.
