Vitamin D: Needed for calcium absorption, bone health, and tooth enamel formation. Deficiency symptoms include osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia, buck teeth, tooth decay, pyorrhea, and rheumatism. Amount needed daily: 400 units. Found in fish liver oils, caviar, eggs, and natural sunlight.
