Vitamin C: Needed for collagen formation, healthy teeth and gums, strong bones, normal vision, detoxification of pathogens, allergy prevention, fatigue prevention. Deficiency symptoms include bleeding gums, easy bruising, infection, wrinkles, loss of teeth, brittle bones, and aging skin. Amount needed daily: 60-80 mg. Found in citrus fruits and juices, bell peppers, persimmons, guavas, strawberries, and green vegetables.
