The Magic of Holy Fruit (Bael)

Bael is a medium sized deciduous tree reaching up to 8 m in height.

Stem: The stem is endowed with straight, sharp, axillary thorns and yellowish brown, slightly furrowed corky bark.

Leaves: Leaves are trifoliate, aromatic, and alternate. Leaflets are ovate or ovate–lanceolate, crenate, and pellucid punctuate. The lateral leaves are sub sessile and the terminal leaf is long petioled.
