This billboard feels a little aggressive and I generally don’t like to be aggressive, especially in my daily life. I think it is important to remember that they are only calling attention to research. What do I mean by that? Well, they only pointed to one study in their article, meaning that the data needs to be repeated before the connection between processed meats and colorectal cancer is truly established and becomes widely accepted as empirically true. However, given its results, the study definitely deserves our attention and to be repeated, so putting that message out there is fine by me.
