1 Star The cookbook is borning, no color no picture.
I was hopeing to get this cookbook and start to cook with my daughter cuz she(age 5) loves cooking so i order this cookbook but after i got it, my daughter only look at 5 second. The cookbook is no color and picture, so borning.

4 Stars Great “first” cookbook
This was my daughter’s first cookbook for “cooking for real.” She’s 8 years old and she’s now cooking dinner for us one night a week. The directions are very age appropriate.

4 Stars Excellent for boys, too
I purchased this cookbook for my youngest grandson, age 8, because he told me he likes to cook with his mom. His dad is in the Army and they are presently stationed in Europe. He received the book so much faster than I thought he would, considering the distance it traveled, that I was a little surprised when he called me to say thanks.

C. J. said thst he had already gone over every page in the book and picked out several recipes that he was going to make. He said it was really easy to read and he understood the directions.

This is a ringing endorsement from an 8 year-old.

5 Stars Excellent! Worth Every Penny
This is an excellent book. I purchased it for my 11 year old son who is interested in cooking. Within 15 minutes of receiving the book he had made “Cinnamon Apples To Go.” They were easy to make and delicious. He has already planned our Halloween menu and is excited to be the party’s chef. The appetizing recipes are labeled by difficulty, clearly labeled, and are easy-to-follow. This book was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

UPDATE:

My son planned our Halloween menu using this book and it was a complete success! He made the mini pizzas and the cinnamon apples. He got rave reviews from all the kids and adults. One of them said his pizza was better than Papa Johns. :)

5 Stars Wonderful book for ages 5-100!
This is a great book everyone should use. It has simple recipes that everyone should know, and some that are unusual. On almost every page it shows new words and their definitions. It also has crosswords and games for cooking. Along with side tips on how to keep your fruit from going brown and why onions make you cry. Perfect for teaching your kid the basics on cooking and discovering new recipes. While you’ll need to do most of the easy ones with your 5 year old, your 11 or 12 year old is free to cook you dinner while your taking a nap!
