The Cost of Food from a Global Perspective

Posted Jun 02 2008 5:03pm

We all tend to live in our worlds as far as expenditure goes when it comes to food, or any other product for that matter this morning I was trying to do some research for a blog post about the difference between junk food and healthy food and how much it costs, but I came across a post on another blog, which highlighted how much food cost the world over.

So I went to the original source of the article and the results are what you see beneath you.

When you actually look at how much people in other countries pay for their food the price differences from some countries are quite amazing to say the least. Reading this post is a education in itself the reason being is it’s quite interesting to see how other people live and what it costs them to buy food on a truly global scale.
