This book is the best I have found for women’s health. It teaches you how to obtain a balance in your life that is so simple. It made so much sense. I would highly recommend this book to anyone trying to feel in control of your body and needing to feel healthy. A must read!

4 Stars A New Direction
I have a new way of eating because of this book. I lost 23 pounds and have so much more energy. My knees were starting to hurt all the time and now they don’t!

I eat nothing but natural foods now, no processed foods or refined sugars, no white flour, no artificial sweeteners. I am 62 and feel great and love the food I’m eating. The recipes in the book are delicious!

2 Stars Interesting, but useful – hmmm?
I had listened to this author on Hayhouse radio and thought well of her. She guides callers on her show how to make changes in their lives based on their diet. On the show, she will mention, for example, “blah blah blah 16 gram carb snack or a specific fat/protein/carb ratio”. So I thought I would get the book and learn about what I heard she was talking about on her radio show – but that was not in the book. I agree with others that the book has interesting information about metabolisms and glands and organs – but I didn’t find much of it useful. I was very surprised that as one reviewer also found: “A diet plan is provided but the nutritional components of the diet are not included.” I am not about to make crab cakes or quiches on Wednesday because that is what the “Wednesay” diet is. Without some charts of the foods in the diet plans to allow substitution based on nutritional values, the book was basically useless to me. I could look up those substitutes and make a chart – which I had done before for some of my main foods (even before buying the book) – but then why buy this book. Another reviewer noted that the different diets for your different body issues or needs are basically the same. I thought that too. Oh, and if you are vegetarian or don’t want to eat certain beings, such as sea animals – this book not for you. It’s an interesting book from a gifted practitioner – but mainly trivia for me – since it lacks practicality for my lifestyle.

5 Stars Finally a solution !!
I am a health care professional and a Pilates Instructor. I read this book looking for answers to unexplained weight gain that several health care providers ( endocrinologist, OB/GYN and primary care doctors) could not figure out. After reading this book, it became clear to me that some of my systems were out of balance. Since March I have lost 26 lbs with literally no effort. It does not feel like a diet. You eat wonderful foods from the recipe and menu sections of the book and take the recommended supplements. I feel fabulous and I am now at my ideal weight. The book is very easy to understand and puts everything into easy to follow steps. I am eating REAL food– no low fat, no fat free, no counting calories, no weighing food. Easiest and most healthy way to lose weight if you are struggling with perimenopausal weight gain or post partum weight.

I highly recommend this book to clients now and will continue to follow the suggestions to remain at my optimal weight for life. Thank you Marcelle Pick.
