The 3 Season Diet Eat the Way Nature Intended Lose Weight Beat Food Cravings and Get Fit

* Do you drink coffee in the morning to get your day started?

* Do you work through lunch?

* Do you crave sweets or a nap in the afternoon?

* Have you tried losing weight in the past three years and given up?

* Do you tend to have bouts of worry, anxiety, and depression?

* Do you have difficulty remembering things?

If you do, this book will help you restore balance to your daily life. By following its simple instructions for eating foods appropriate to each season, adjusting your diet to your body type, eating at the optimal time of the day, and exercising without triggering a survival response, you will not only lose excess pounds and maintain your ideal weight, you will generate energy and power in your life.

Derived from a 5,000-year-old traditional medical system, the 3-season diet does what no other diet will: work along with the body’s natural response to the changing seasons, feeding it what it craves and can best utilize at all times. In spring, for instance, we want salads, berries, and leafy greens, a naturally low-fat diet. And in winter, we yearn for hearty soups, nuts, warm grains, and high-fat and protein-rich foods such as fish and meat. Following the foods that nature provides seasonally creates the best diet for balancing weight, mood, and energy for anyone living anywhere on earth.

4 Stars Logical
I read this prior to attending a seminar by the author. The book is great, and explains the basics. Combined with the seminar – it really makes sense once you understand the theory of keeping a natural balance. I learned many more things to do to maintain balance in the seminar that are not in the book. If the book makes sense to you, I recommend attending the seminar for additional info, or reading from the authors web site for more info.

5 Stars A Holisitc Approach to Weight Loss
I love this book! I have been searching for the right kind of “diet” plan for a long time and I found it in this book. Douillard offers a sane, healthy, Ayurvedic approach to eating in harmony with the seasonal energies that is simple to do and effective. I loved all the comparisons of different diets and the way he explains why they only work temporarily. Following this plan allows me to eat what my body intuitively hungers for through the seasons while showing me which foods to reduce or avoid to achieve maximum health. I definitely recommend it.

5 Stars Amazing Health Tool.
As a nutrition advocate, I recommend this book for everyone young and old. Dr. Doulliard is gift. He gives those new to Ayurveda a comprehensible book. You can use this information immediately and change your health with the seasons!

Enjoy.

1 Star Don’t know never received the book
Amazon delivered it to the wrong address and I never received the product or a refund and it’s been over a month. This is the second time Amazon has done this and I don’t get the product. It looks like a good book!!!

5 Stars Fabulous Content
I read this book a year ago after it was recommended at the yoga studio that I attend. It has some fabulous content. It’s well explained but most of all, it works. I’ve been eating along these guidelines for the past year and I lost 10 lbs and have kept it off. Eating 3 meals a day and sipping hot water really does stabilize blood sugar. I was so suprised. It makes me feel great, have more energy and less anxiety. John Douillard has a lot of other content on his website too. He’s constantly updating it with new stuff, YouTube videos and sending out e-newsletters. A lot of the ayurvedic nutrition tips he provides in this book and continues to provide online have helped me tremendously. I highly recommend it.
