There are few things more amazing than swimming with a sea turtle. It is calming and peaceful and the world just kind of stands still. Sea turtles are beautiful creatures and this one was very friendly. I was supposed to be posing with Sean for an underwater shot but the turtle caught my eye and then we were off to swim with him/her. The turtle could have stayed on the bottom of the ocean or ignored us but it let us follow and hang out for a while. I'll probably post more pics on Facebook, including some with Edward and Sean as well. For now, here is the honu, the honu and me, and pics of me diving to the bottom of the sea. I reached twenty feet today. My record!  Sea turtles are incredibly peaceful. Such a cutie! Swimming together!  The turtle is swimming to my right. Getting down to 20 feet! |
