The rest of the weekend was great. We got to see family and friends and actually got to spend time with them! As always, I wish we had more time, but I appreciate it all the same :)
I had some Iced Green tea today at my parents house. They have one of those instant 1-cup machines, so I just made hot green tea and put it over ice with some lemon, yum :) Sorry the pic is sideways, I can't figure out how to turn it! For breakfast I also had the same as yesterday, multi-grain bagel with mashed banana & PB . It was so filling this morning that I couldn't even finish it! Or the left over mashed.
Rob and I got home around 1:30 and ran to the grocery store. Once we got home, we decided to make an old college favorite, Velveeta &Salsa . Yum. I got this recipe from my friend Katie and I've been hooked ever since!
I just combined equal parts Velveeta and salsa. I used half the block. We dipped Tostitos Multi-grain chips with it. I probably ate more chips and dip than I should've, but it tasted so good! Lucky Rob is bringing the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
I also found this great Whole Grain Rice blend at the grocery store today. Its got wheat berries and rye berries in it! I can't wait to try it! Maybe tomorrow night??
Dinner tonight was homemade pizza. I found Whole Wheat crust in the store today, YAY! I made my half with mushrooms and hot sauce. Yum.
And for desert I had an Adora dark chocolate calcium supplement. It was delicious :) Real tough way to take a calcium supplement ;)
I'm quite tired after the busy weekend that we had, so I'm off to bed!
