Most often when I have a big exam, this kind of happens to me…
No, that’s not actually me in the picture, but you get the gist of what I mean. I eat a lot of junk when I study. Don’t we all? Well, it’s no wonder that we do because our brains love glucose and carbohydrates are good for learning and memory . But I’m sick of the putting myself through the studying and junk food binge cycle, so this weekend I decided to plan ahead. To combat my usual munchies, I used recipes fromFat Free Vegan Kitchen for Baba Ganoush andHummus. (Don’t be confused by the named of the site, these aren’t exactly fat free munchies, but the fat they have is healthy fat .) I had fresh veggies to dip in the hummus and devoured the baba ghanoush on fresh sliced tomatoes.
