Starting thoughts

Posted by Rebecca B.

Being pregnant has probably been the best thing that's happened to me in terms of my eating habits. I don't think I've consumed so many fruits and vegetables before! I'm definitely thankful that my cravings have gone on this healthful route. I'm just hoping I can maintain the good momentum after the baby is born in January, and that the stress and rushing around of being a working mother doesn't cause me to start gravitating towards the McDonald's drive-thru.

Often we hear many stories of pregnant women craving salty or sweet things, but it's great that you are eating so many fruits and vegetables. By January, it should be an eating habit, so you should be able to stick with the good eating plan. As long as you plan ahead, you can avoid the McDonald's drive-thru. Baby carrots, apples, and bananas are easy snacks to have at work.
