Spoken words

Posted Nov 20 2009 10:04pm
Yesterday Kasondra posted words spoken and wish had been spoken by mom. As I lay in bed last night, I was thinking how powerful the spoken word can be when we give it power.

No words ever spoken to you should change the way you feel about yourself.

They can make you think and maybe even make you see yourself more clearly, but they should NEVER change your feelings about yourself!

Remember, in order to believe in something, you must first agree with it! You can't blame someone for not feeling the same way you do about something. An open mind will get you an education but you can't believe everything you hear.

Describe yourself - right now. The past can only come back through memories and gaining experience will mean making mistakes. Accept it! Describe you now in the present.

These are the words you should speak to yourself, the only ones that you should validate.

I am alive, happy, open minded, loving, honest, active, friendly, healthy, kind, nurturing, smiley, optimisitic, and simple. I like spending time with me. I am a loyal friend to others and myself.
