Spinach Monster

Happy Tuesday!

How goes it? I am feeling incredibly energized and full of life after a gigantic Green Monster this morning!

Combo this morning included:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop Sun Warrior brown rice protein
  • 1 scoop naturally more pb
  • 1 cup almond breeze
  • 4 cups organic spinach
  • big handful fresh blueberries

I loved the addition of the blueberries! This Green Monster was delish-nutrish. However, Ryan was not thrilled because there was no spinach left for his Green Monster and he had to use the last of the kale, which is just not as good. He was quite frustrated that I finished off the entire bag of spinach but I assured him I would buy more today so he could have his ultimate green smoothie tomorrow. Little did Ryan know three years ago that he would soon be drinking his green every morning and filling up on almond milk and fresh veggies. Muhahaha ;)

Of course after chugging down the smoothie I was shivering in my bones so I made a nice, hot cup of Tazo apricot white tea to warm up:

I’m getting ready to head to the gym now for a combo of elliptical and swimming. Then, at noon, I am meeting my mom for lunch for some Vietnamese lovin’. See you in a bit!
