Lunch today was one of my favorite Turkey Burger recipes. It is a Turkey Feta Burger on a bed of spinach and topped with a garden fresh tomato. I also have a bunch of ripe peaches that need to be eaten/used, thus the Fresh Peach Coffee Cake.
Spinach Turkey Feta Burgers
1 package Lean Ground Turkey 1/4 cup of Feta Cheese 3 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped 1 tablespoon dried Italian Herbs Fresh Ground Pepper
Grill burgers for about 7-8 minutes per side. Remove from grill and enjoy burger on:
1 whole wheat bun 1/4 cup baby spinach 1-2 tomato slices
also good with a smear of hummus... did not have any in the house.
Time to get geared up to teach Kids In Motion today. I am not sure we are going to have any students. The girls that usually come are out of town so I will be pleasantly surprised if anyone shows up. The kids and I are going to go to the library afterwards and yep... a stop of Yogurt Planet! That is going to be my early dessert for the day and I am going to try to eat a light dinner. I got my new Fitness Magazine yesterday and want to do one of the exercise routines at some point today. I am always in search of new ideas to keep things fresh for my clients and myself.
