Spa Day with the Bride

Posted Oct 15 2009 10:01pm

Ahhhhh, I feel so relaxed! My sister treated me to a wonderful half day at the spa this afternoon. It was amazing– and just what we both needed!

Money-saving tip: Esthetics schools, like Catherine Hinds, offer very discounted prices for their services. Check out my previous post for more info.

When we arrived at Catherine Hinds, we were handed a bag full of goodies for our spa treatment: a robe, towel, and a pair of flip flops.

Of course, we took advantage of the opportunity and snapped a photo before enjoying “The Works,” which included steam, body exfoliation, seaweed wrap, mini facial, and a soothing massage. It was awesome!

My sister and I were both so relaxed, we kept falling asleep during our treatments!

After our day at the spa, we were both starving! I hadn’t eaten lunch, so I was practically ready to eat my arm!

My sis had tons of veggies in her fridge that she wanted to eat before she leaves on her honeymoon, so we threw together a couple of big salads for lunch.

Holy veggies!

I finished off lunch with a Lindt chocolate– the perfect way to end any meal!

My sister and her fiance planned an evening out for the wedding party at a local restaurant-bar. I’m looking forward to meeting the groom’s side and getting to know the other bridesmaids better. It should be a fun night!
