Soda Raises Osteoporosis Risk, Study Finds

Women who drink 4 or more sodas a week are increased risk for developing osteoporosis, also known as "brittle bone disease."

So finds a new study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

Interestingly, "regular cola consumption was linked to lower bone mineral density in all women studied, regardless of other factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption and calcium intake, researchers found," according toFood Navigator, which alerted me to this fascinating study.
