Hey guys, sorry I was MIA yesterday. Technical problems! An engineer shouldn't have these technical problems, right!?!? Oh well, lets get back to it, shall we! We'll just start from this morning's breakfast! I had the most delicious version of chia pudding ever. Let me grace you with the recipe/steps! 1. Mix 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk with 1 scoop brown rice protein powder. 2. Mix with 2 tbsp chia seeds. Let soak for 2 hours. 3. Place pudding in food processor with 1/2 cup frozen fruit of choice (I used cherries and berries) and mix together. 4. Enjoy now for an soft serve like treat or leave in the fridge overnight for a super tasty pudding breakfast in the morning.
After this perfectly fueling breakfast, I biked to the gym for legs! I've been getting requests to post my specific workouts like I used to, so here ya goDeadlifts, feet on balance disks: 4 sets, 10 reps. Jump rope for 30-60 sec between sets. Superset- Leg Adductions (inner thigh machine): 4 sets, 10 reps. - Leg Abductions (outter thigh machine): 4 sets, 10 reps. - Jump rope for 30-60 sec between supersets 30 mins stair master intervals.
Needless to say, I was pretty wiped for the bike ride home! It is a great cool down though. My recovery shake was pretty typical1/4 banana 1/4 frozen mango 1 large leaf kale 2 large handfuls spinach 1 packet tropical Ola Loa Energy 1 1/2 scoops brown rice protein powder 1/2 tbsp coco oil 1/2 tbsp flax oil 2 tbsp oat bran Water Cinnamon
Mmmmmm I am in love with ola loa!! I had that with a slice of ezekiel and maybe 1/2 tbsp almond-hemp spread and a dollip of fig spread.
I also packed up my snacks for the day. On the left you see a tasty salad which will be drizzled with Sesame dressing later. It is filled with tasty bell pepps, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, spinach and romaine. On the right is an amazing avocado-chickpea-curry salad with some jicama "crackers" for dipping purposes. I've just recently joined a Training Company called Fitness on the Move! I love their philosophy. They go to their clients with equipment and train them where it is convenient for them.
