My boyfriend makes this great smoothie-pretty simple, with orange juice, frozen strawberries and bananas. It's great, and it's a light drink that's perfect for the summer days.
After looking online and seeing that fresh fruit smoothies don't usually have more than 500 calories, I've decided that I'm going to start drinking them more often as breakfast or an after dinner snack (something I can't seem to give up, but have gotten better about-i'm now eating more low calorie treats.)
Plus, since fruit is a good source of fiber, I'll be fulfilling that goal of mine-to eat more fiber-rich foods. I've noticed I've been feeling much better since I've started that.
Does anyone else out there have any good, healthy smoothie recipes?
