My family loves spaghetti. We have it at least twice a month. Since I'm not normally carbing up for a 10K, I do a couple of things to make it more waist friendly. First, I use lean ground turkey. You always have to look because some ground turkey can be higher in fat than hamburger. I also use the whole wheat noodles. Hunt's has a no sugar added spaghetti sauce that is yummy. For a final touch, I mix in a good sized portion of steamed veggies. Use any assortment you like. I prefer one that contains zucchini and yellow squash. How do you make your meals more healthy?
