Sibu Beauty

Posted Jan 09 2013 12:50pm
Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far.  2013 is off to a good start and I have been busy incorporating all sorts of healthy foods into my diet.  More about that later but first I must tell you all about Sibu Beauty .  My son Emmet suffers from eczema and although I have tried to tweak his diet to help this condition we have never successfully gotten rid of it.  He had a flair up during the holidays (no surprise) and I decided to have him use the Sibu Beauty Bar that the nice people from Sibu Beauty sent me.  I had read that Sea Buckthorn helps clear up eczema among other fabulous things and am excited to report that it REALLY does work.

Sea Buckthorn is known as nature's most balanced fruit. This "Holy Fruit of the Himalayas" has been cherished by native Tibetans for centuries for its incredible nutritive qualities. Over 120 specific studies on sea buckthorn have shown that this little berry promotes health. From sea buckthorn's rare abundance of some of the most powerful antioxidants to being the only plant in the world known to contain essential fatty acids 3, 6, 7 and 9 - sea buckthorn has earned its title of superfruit.

Traditional health-related uses for the sea buckthorn berry include:Sustained energy levelsImproved cellular healthCardiovascular supportHealthy inflammation responseJoint supportMoisturizing dry and damaged skinImproved immune healthDecrease in wrinkles and fine linesAddressing exzema and rosacea symptoms
Emmet used Sibu Beauty Cleanse and Detox Bar, followed by the Body Cream and then put the Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil on the particularly inflamed areas of eczema. We were so surprised at how quickly this cleared up his eczema.  He found immediate relief on a spot on his hand by just putting a few drops of the Seed Oil on it.  This regime has cleared up his skin and I so happy that we have found something that works!

Sibu Beauty Body Cream contains sea buckthorn seed oil, fruit oil and even whole pureed berries to soften, heal, and protect your skin. Sea Buckthorn has been shown in many scientific and clinical studies to aid in the preservation of youthful texture and protection against sun damage.

Sea buckthorn seed oil has long been used as a traditional beauty treatment to preserve youthful skin tone and texture. It is a secret remedy to fight wrinkles and age spots so you may (or may not) want to share it with your friends. Our therapeutic grade seed oil will help restore damaged skin to its natural beautiful state. Emmet does not like the feel of lotions or greasy creams and the Sibu body lotion and  seed oil sink right into the skin.I am a true believer in this miracle berry and plan to buy more of the Sibu Beauty products!

Now on the food front, I have been trying to lose a few pounds myself and am happy to report that as of this morning of was down 2 lbs.  Phew.  I have mixed up my exercise routine.  More yoga and  Barre 3 classes, less running and have been tweaking my diet just a bit too.I have been drinking water like it is my job. Eating more DARK LEAFY Greens.  Enjoying my Maca Milkshakes (oh my goodness, I love these so much) and really believe that Maca is helping me balance my hormones.  Drinking Green Tea.And even consumed animal protein.  I have been hesitant to discuss this since I have not had any animal protein in many, many months but was actually craving chicken and decided that my body was telling me something.  The chicken came from Draper Valley Farms and is sustainably farmed, humanly raised and vegetarian fed (in other words, Happy Meat) and I actually felt physically better after eating it even though I had a twinge of guilt. But since 2013 is my year of NO GUILT, I am going to work through this issue and hope that you will respect my decision (whatever it may be).  My plan for right now is eat a mostly plant-based diet but to also listen to my body's needs and not to follow a diet that is extreme.  That does not work for me or my client's and I am going to follow my body's cues going forward. With that,  I am off to work!  Have a FABULOUS Day everyone.
