Posted Dec 18 2008 8:12pm

Tragic, tragic, tragic. We are fat, fat, fat. Nothing like seeing a map to drive the point home. Check out the fascinating "United States of Obesity" map that our friends at CalorieLab.com posted.

Americans, cut back on those culprit carbs get off your butts, especially this holiday weekend!

Speaking of which -- despite the fact that I'm working 'round the clock to make pending book deadlines -- I need to go exercise for an hour. (Yeah, alas, you won't find me having a last summer hurrah at the beach. I'm indoors, sitting for hours on end, trying to wrap up SUGAR SHOCK! )

While you're at Calorie Lab, see my guest article. "Diet tips: 8 ways to cut soda pop and lose pounds."
