Cucumber Water
Cut diagonal cucumber slices with skins from one large cucumber and add to a pitcher of water, allowing it to seep for one hour. Cucumbers give it a fresh, cool flavor profile with little to no sugar.
Lemon Ice Cubes
Freeze one part water and one part lemon juice in ice cube trays. Add a cube to your next class of water. A refreshing citrus infusion results.
Frozen Honeydew Balls
Use a melon scooper and scoop circular balls of honeydew, a type of melon that’s lower in sugar than most fruits. Freeze. Drop one or two in a glass of bubbly seltzer water. Allow to sit then mash with the back of a spoon for a pulp-like refresher.
Any other ideas? We want to hear. Post a note in our comments.
