Raw Milk One Last Time

Posted Jan 07 2009 2:47pm

raw-milk

Last week was second round voting on ideas to send to the new presidency. Raw Milk made it to the third round, is currently in 17th place, and needs to be in the top 10 to be presented. Get over there and vote for consumer choice. Whether you drink raw milk or not, this issue should be of importance to you. I don’t drink raw milk, though I might if access to it were easier. However, I don’t want the government deciding what I can and can’t consume. What do you want to allow the government to outlaw next? Perhaps next time it’ll be your steak.

While you’re at it, vote on the motion to Stop NAIS, which is just ahead of raw milk. Both of these issues are important for small farmers and consumers alike.

Change.org is a social action site that is collecting ideas for the Obama presidency. Whether you believe anything will actually happen from this or not, it only takes a minute to vote for consumer choice.
