"Weight Loss Tips" Website Debuts

Posted Dec 18 2008 8:12pm

Weight Loss Tips, a website devoted to featuring "real-life examples of individuals who have decided to take control of how they look and how they feel."

The very first Q & A features fellow blogger and sugar-spurning friend Jimmy Moore ( Livin' La Vida Low-Carb blog),who tells his remarkable tale of shedding some 180 pounds by kicking sugar (which he calls "rat poison"), other refined carbs, following the Atkins diet, and exercising.

Incidentally, in the story, Jimmy highly recommends this SUGAR SHOCK! Blog (and four other sites) that help or inspire him. (Thanks, Jimmy!)

Also featured on the new Weight Loss Tips is another fellow blogger, Melodee Helms, ( The Amazing Shrinking Mom blog ), who has lost about 36.4 pounds to date by cutting out those nutrient-poor, high-glycemic index foods like sugar, refined flour, white rice, and white potatoes.

Melodee explains that she got rid of the fiber-deprived white foods because she has Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and therefore has a predisposition to insulin resistance. Good for her for doing "some research" and learning that "a low-glycemic index diet works [well] for people with insulin issues."

Congratulations to Lizza of Weight Loss Tips for your new website.
