Quiet Holiday Spirit with a Handmade Wreath

Posted Dec 23 2011 2:13am
This year, the holiday season has come quietly with silence, despair, belief, strength, and hope in Japan. Holiday lights are blinking discreetly with consideration for victims and ongoing restless issues of the disaster in March, 2011.

Since the evacuees from the most affected areas have still been suffering from the aftermath of the earthquake and the tsunami, the people refrain voluntarily from enjoying or indulging self-pleasures.

Less Christmas lights and decoration still can ginger up a mood for holidays. While not so much shining decorations are out there this year, I thought I would cheer a holiday spirit up by making a wreath with holly leaves and little red seeds from our garden.
Because it’s Christmas, I think that every single person in the world should know that no matter where you are, what you do, and who you are, you are valuable. I wish you happy holidays. I hope the evacuees of the disaster in Japan and the people all over the world who suffer from uncontrolled situations may gain a peace and rest very soon.
