Quick Breakfast Smoothie: Maple Almond Crush

M week is finally here with our Maple Almond Crush Smoothie!  Add a little fruit and whole wheat toast to this smoothie for a complete breakfast and to keep the kid full till lunch.  Here is our recipe: Almond Maple Smoothie

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. maple extract
  • Optional (1-4 TBL of water, depending on how thin you like your smoothies.

Blend well!

I really love extracts and we have many.  You can find butter flavoring, vanilla, maple, almond, lemon, strawberry, banana, coconut, anise, orange, peppermint, and even chocolate!  It’s a great way to flavor up foods without adding calories, fat, or sugar.
