Prunes Prevent Bone Loss

A study found that women who eat at least ten prunes a day over the period of three months slowed their bone loss due to age by fifty seven percent. The reason for this is the polyphenols in the prunes. Polyphenols are antioxidants that fight the free radicals. Of course you?ll also have to think about the effect that many prunes would have on your particular digestive system.
